In the Astral Academy forum, characters can be killed by other characters. However, there is a simple way to avoid character deaths. In the Title of your thread, simply post [No-Kill] and no other player-character/non-player character can kill your own character. During the course of an Assignment however, player-characters can be killed by other player-characters -- also in story-related Assignments. Should your character lose a limb or other body part in the event of a battle he/she can only be repaired by purchasing a transplant at the Points System, if the Nurse is available the cost of a transplant is halved. That said, your character can also be seriously injured and remain that way until you purchase Major Injury (heal) at the Points System, if the Nurse is available the cost of a Major Injury (heal) is halved.
